The place we will talk about today came up in a conversation the other day and is a true hidden gem of Málaga.
A small beach right on the beach of Málaga that houses a unique restaurant full of history and has overlooked the Mediterranean since 1918.
This beach is the result of an old spa built on the remains of Monte San Telmo in 1918. It served as a leisure space for the upper class of society at the time.
FUN FACTS: The resort consisted of a central pavilion and a bathing area that broke with one of the customs of the time. In ancient times, men and women bathed separately with a mat to prevent them from seeing each other, but at Los Baños del Carmen, this custom was broken for the first time.
Back to the important part: Besides its wonderful views and nostalgic aura, we love this location because it offers the best sunsets on the Costa del Sol. Highly recommended visit.
