Welcome officially to Autumn… Although those of us on the Costa del Sol continue to enjoy sunny days… There’s nothing better than venturing into a forest to marvel at the colors that only Autumn can offer. And here’s the recommendation of the week: “EL BOSQUE DE COBRE” (The Copper Forest).

Most of the villages in the Genal Valley turn into beautiful landscapes for chestnut lovers, so visiting the Grand Route of Ronda (GR 141), especially the stages that run near the Genal River (4, 5, and 6), is a fantastic idea!

Although we will provide a link to all the routes of the Copper Forest, our personal recommendation is to visit the Wine and Chestnut Fair in Yunquera. It will be held on October 28th and 29th, 2023. Its name leaves little to the imagination. Food enthusiasts can enjoy a very entertaining day at a fair where you can also discover local crafts and cuisine.
