Welcome to Bobastro, a tiny but important ruins in the heart of El Chorro. There, Omar ibn Hafsún, a rebel descendant of Visigothic muladíes (Christians converted to Islam) created an impregnable fortress to confront the troops of the Omeyas, reigning dynasty in Cordoba.
