Cultural activities not only help people to manage and recover from depression, but also help to prevent it. Regular trips to the cinema, theatre or museums could drastically reduce the risk of depression after the age of 50.

This information, published in 2018 in a very interesting study, allowed more than one of our friends to explain to their relatives why they chose to move to Malaga, one of the Spanish cities with the greatest cultural offerings.

For all those relatives who were not very satisfied with the explanation, the excuses of the Mediterranean diet, the climate and the possibility of receiving visitors on holidays were added—weighty reasons that ended up convincing all those children who still wanted their mother to prepare food for them.
