5 tips to apply to your routine

Did you get the courage to run, or were you already a runner?
Well, the next step is: set a goal. Running for the sake of running can get boring, but setting achievable goals in life is what keeps us entertained, isn’t it?
How about a half marathon, or 21.0795 km? It takes a lot of training, but it’s completely achievable, and would be something to be proud of.
We’ll give you 5 tips to apply to your routine. If you feel like it, why not go for it?
1. Check your health. At every age it is advisable to visit your doctor once a year. Tell them your plans and make sure you are healthy enough to pursue your goals.
2. The right shoes = kilometres gained. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of the footprint and its characteristics. Pronator, supinator… and a world of possibilities for both.
3. Train according to a plan: Change your routine from time to time, and tone your muscles at least twice a week. There’s no excuse– even milk cartons can be used as weights.
4. Set yourself a time and try to achieve it.
5. Now comes the key: less is more. You don’t have to cover the entire distance every time you go running. It’s better for your body to adapt to the run than for you to try to run too many kilometres at once and end up exhausted.
As you can see, these are small tips that will help you in your running, regardless of whether or not you end up running in a race. Why not give it a try?
