Are you ready to stand before the highest waterfall in the province of Málaga? We are heading to the heart of Sierra de las Nieves to conquer the legendary “Waterfall Trail” in Tolox.
✨ The Experience
This is a 5-star hiking experience where the sound of flowing water will be our soundtrack for the entire journey:
- The Giant: We will reach Salto de La Rejía, a breathtaking vertical drop of over 50 meters.
- Healing Waters: Our journey begins at the historic Balneario de Tolox. Founded in 1867, it is the only spa in Spain specializing in respiratory health. We’ll walk the same paths once trodden by famous artists, bullfighters, and politicians seeking the healing gases of these unique springs.
- Nature in Motion: A circular route through Sierra Parda, passing springs, streams, and lush landscapes.
📅 Logistics & Schedule
- Date: Saturday, March 28th
- Meeting Point: Parking Balneario de Tolox.
- Time: 10:00 AM (Sharp!).
- Carpool: We recommend sharing cars from Marbella (approx. 1 hour drive).
- Duration: 5 hours (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM).

- Maximum Altitude: 684m.
- Lunch: We will have a 30-minute stop for a “bocata” (sandwich) lunch during the hike.
🎒 What to Bring
- Gear: Sturdy trekking shoes and hiking sticks (highly recommended).
- Clothing: Layers! Bring warm clothes and a waterproof jacket (just in case the mountain or the waterfall decides to splash us!).
- Fuel: Sufficient water and your lunch/sandwich.
