There are waterfalls in the province of Málaga that very few people know about. Barranco Blanco, tucked between Alhaurín el Grande and Coín, is one of them — and getting there is part of the experience.
Follow the Alaminos River through the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas, where crystal-clear pools invite you to stop, breathe, and cool off. The route winds along one of the most spectacular stretches of this river valley, ending at a beautiful waterfall where a swim is not just possible — it’s almost mandatory.
