Join us for a fascinating cultural afternoon exploring “The Journey of Light. From Guido Reni to Murillo”, an extraordinary exhibition bringing together 81 masterpieces from some of Europe’s most celebrated painters of the 16th to 18th centuries.

Through portraits, mythological scenes, religious paintings, landscapes and still lifes, we’ll discover how artists such as Murillo, José de Ribera, Guido Reni, Luca Giordano and Alonso Cano transformed light into emotion, spirituality and storytelling.

The exhibition is organised into four sections, allowing visitors to explore the evolution of artistic styles from Mannerism to the Baroque, all through the lens of one of painting’s most powerful tools: light itself.

A wonderful opportunity to enjoy art, culture and good company in one of Málaga’s most beautiful cultural venues. Because occasionally spending an afternoon contemplating masterpieces is a perfectly acceptable way to exercise the mind.
